30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We’re confident you’ll love your new home. But if you don’t, just notify us within 30 days of move-in, and you can break your lease. We’ll be sad to see you go, but we understand that sometimes plans change.

  • What are the additional fees on top of monthly rent?

    We strive to make our pricing as transparent as possible, and each additional fee will be clearly stated in your rental agreement.

    Additional fees include:
    - Administrative Processing Fee: $4
    - Valet Trash: $23
    - Amenity Fee: $5
    - Pest Control: $2
    - Water: Allocated and billed in addition to your monthly rent
    - Electric: Based on usage, and residents will need to create a utilities account
    - Pet: If applicable, $15 per pet.
  • What do I need to qualify for an apartment?

    We're thrilled to hear you want to apply! Each resident must meet certain criteria, including rental, credit, and criminal history checks, as well as employment and income verifications. After you have finished your application, you will receive a confirmation email with preliminary approval. In order to make your approval final, the office team will need a copy of each occupant's photo identification and pay stubs or W-2's to confirm income requirements. If you want to review the full requirements prior to applying, please contact the leasing office for a full breakdown.
  • I've been approved, what's next?

    Congratulations and thank you for choosing Marquis at Legacy as your new home! Once approved, you will receive a Welcome Home letter from our team with a checklist to complete before moving in.

    Action items include:
    1. Electronically signing your lease.
    2. Setting up your resident portal account.
    3. Paying move-in fees and deposits.
    4. Sending our team confirmation of your utilities accounts and renters insurance.
    5. Setting up your move-in appointment.

    We will stay in contact with you through this process and are available to answer any questions that you may have to make your move in as smooth and easy as possible.
  • My move-in date is coming up, what's the move-in process?

    Welcome Home to Marquis at Legacy!
    Before your move-in date, we will ensure all required action items have been completed as outlined in the Welcome Home letter. We will then set up a move-in appointment.
    On your move-in date, we will give you a move-in packet with need-to-know information, hand over your keys, and you can begin moving in!
  • As a resident, where will I park? What about my guests?

    Thanks for your question! Every resident is assigned one reserved covered parking space. All unreserved parking is available for residents and guests on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • As a resident, how will I receive packages?

    FedEx, UPS, and Amazon packages are delivered directly to residents' doors. USPS packages will be delivered to your mailbox. If the package is too large to fit in your mailbox, the postal carrier will leave a slip advising you of which Post Office the package is at for you to pick up.
  • What school district is Marquis at Legacy in?

    Students at our community attend Plano ISD schools. Depending on their grade level, students will go to:

    - Gulledge Elementary
    - Robinson Middle
    - Jasper High School
    - Plano West Senior High School
